I know we probably a board like before but I'm too lazy to go search.
Anyway, I was wondering can/do you use forks and knives when eating or are you like me, only use a spoon or a fork? I can use knives and forks but I find the motion difficult and I find I'm constantly switching hands back and forth and it is really too much trouble.

At home i use a fork and spoon but if i'm out or round someones house i use a knife and fork. When i use a knife and fork, half my dinner ends up on the floor because i can't cut properly. My mum normally cuts up the meat for me though.

I just use a fork, as I use the other hand to grip the edge of table to steady myself. I use the side of the fork as a knife However, I can use a knife if it's required - I just do all the cutting up first, then eat, rather than cutting off a bit then eating it.

I don't like using knives so I usually just use a fork or my hands.

I'm fine for cutting small things, but for cutting large chunks of meat I tend to make a mess. So my parents cut things a bit for me beforehand (not tiny pieces, just enough that I'm not cutting up huge chunks).

I prefer chopsticks to knives and forks, as it only requires one hand.
Since coming to uni I have reverted using spoons, hands, and chopsticks were possible and normally eat out of a bowl. I can cut my food how I like before serving and nobody is here to tell me that I'm eating it wrong by not using fork. I even eat meat off the bone with my hands although not in public, and am enjoying my food far more as a result. I use a fork for pasta sometimes.
