Apparently I have mild Autisum and Aspergers. Please could someone with knowledge of these tell me in about the effects of both of them. I have seen the effects only of very prominent type of Autisum before.

I know nothing about Aspergers so could you fill me in about it? ;)

If you watch grange hill. Martin has severe aspergers. You can really understanfd the condition by watchign clips of him. try doing a search on google. lots of sites have archives

According to my latest psychological assessment (I have to get it done every two years to keep my exam concessions up-to-date) I have elements of non-verbal learning disorder, which is a form of autism. I read up on it and it sounds identical to dyspraxia. Puzzled, I asked the ed. psych. where the difference lay. She said NVLD is basically a cocktail of dyspraxia and autism. Apparently I have some traits (obsessively flicking a pencil in front of my eyes, zoning out, not recognizing moving objects as people but rather perceiving them just as moving objects, etc...) that don't quite meet the criteria for Asperger's syndrome but are definitely traces of autism. She also spoke to my teachers about my social skills, as NVLD people typically have difficulty with socializing. But don't many dyspraxic people? I still think it's a fine line between the two.
