I find it difficult as well. If I think about an elephant, the first thing I picture is the word 'elephant' rather than an actual image of one.

Yea that's me I just don't seem to be able to creat like a propper image in my head of the eleohant

I'm the exact opposite to everyone.
I work in pictures. I can't picture words- unless it is a image of a word written on a piece of paper. But I can only picture things well if I have seen them before.
So when I'm reading a book no matter what it says I may picture how a character looks or what a place will look like how ever I want, no matter how it is described in the book.
Yeh- I wouldn't be able to picture a elephant. I would be able to picture a picture of a elephant on google.

I'm like you robyn interesting how theres similarities and differences amonst us. A lot of dyslexic people are able to picture things if im right, so those that do maybe a crossover. If Ive explained that ok.

I understand what you mean but I'm dyslexic but I'm more dyspraxic than dyslexic so maybe that expalins why I'm not as good at picturing things

im more dyspraxic than dyslexic too interesting very interesting how we're all different.
