That's part of being dyspraxic. You're different and people don't understand it because they have no idea what it's like to deal with it everyday. You are going to have to deal with this for the rest of your life. However it's how you look at it, you can think of it as "I'm not like everybody else" , or "thank God, I'm not like everyone else" :D. Remember, it's the ones who are different that are the innovators. Just know while the rest of the world may look at you as a reject, disabled person or a freak, nobody is looked at that way on this website. No one is left out here because we all know what that feels like, so welcome to your new dyspraxic family I guess. lol

I know exactly how it feels. Even within my group of friends, I often feel left out.

I have no friends outside of the internet.
Smile, dance, laugh, live and don't take anything for granted. Being here is a gift.

I sometimes feel left out but not as much since I started work. My work colleagues find the way I think very original and amusing so I am less left out now although sometimes they will find something I say funny and I really don't understand why :?

i no how that feels ive struggled most of my life to make freinds. im 20yrs old now and have only just learnt the basics of socialising. when i was at school i never had freinds got bullied physicaly and verbaly to the point were i was crying in the early hours of the morning scared for the next day of school. up until 6 - 7 months ago i only had freinds on xbox live how sad is that. u now
m8 i recomend doing what i did moving away from home away from the past and family. i moved to new zealeand were i have been dropped in the deep end i have choice but to make freinds to survive. i have been through more crap over here than wen i was at school and even on sum occasion wanted to kill myself from the stress and depresion but im still fighting and getting better. the biggest help was this website i only found out about it a few days ago. ive been alone with dyspraxia for near 20 years not even my family understand me most of the time. and dont get me started with feeling usles. i work on a dairy farm milking over a 1000 cows there is so much that can go wrong because ur working 11hr plus a day using machine and working with large animals. i get the that much crap of my manger for forgetting what job i was suposed to do. i use a moter bike to get round the farm and am forever falling off it. somtimes i just laugh at the crap that happens to me i end up i all sorts of situations which i no not many other people get into.

sorry that my reply is a bit wordy

Some people are fake. That's why you have to really know who the person is, before you can trust them. Plus those types of people have no depth, or anything real about them (they become what there friends want them to be to gain acceptance, which is sad), so you probably wouldn't want to hang around a person like that anyway.

I dont understand ppl my age and any age and ij feel isolated. And dyspraxia and anger management arent a good mix so the friends i had i gave them a fist to the mouty on the bus. I get laugtheed at for my crap atletic and handwriting abilities and they say im lying when i tell them im dyspraxic. I cant tell a joke. I had a really horrid teacher and when i didnt do my homework and got a detention she gave me another dedtention. Theres a really horrible snitch in my class and tells on me fort everything even when its a joke and he knows it. and when he calls me names the teachers never believe me beacuse he is a goody two shoes. and i hate my school whgere i am completely alone

I often feel left out and alone however I have recently got back from working as a cabin counselor at a special needs camp in NY and it was wonderful. I was able to get just as involved as everyone else.

I sometimes feel like that. My outlook is similar to the X-men, we all have amazing abillities (even if it isnt shape shifting e.c.t, we still have amazing skills) but they are of shadowed by our differences that make us not fit in and sometimes people leave us out because they arnt willing to try to understand.

There are accepting people out there though, whether it be your fellow X-men or people who are nice and try to understand.
