I'm assuming by 'the condition' you mean Dyspraxia.

Not only am I in my second year of uni, there's a guy on my course who also has Dyspraxia. We're both doing fine so far.

I am going to University in September. Dyspraxia crippled my school life and I am little bit concerned about how it will effect me at uni...

Im in my second year now at royal veterinary college studying BSc Veterinary Nursing, only got diagnosed on friday and went through all my education with no support and help. Uni did make me realise something was wrong purely because your with people with very high intelligence and I was finding even though I could do it that I was slower than others and didnt really get on too well with my private studies etc because I found it hard to read journals and interpret infomation from them. When on DSA website the other day it said that if your assesment was done over a certain amount of time that they require a reassesment to reasses the learners needs etc.
What really pushed me to do my assesment was I failed some exams and had to go for a resit, my unis rule is one resit if you fail it, you're out. In this resit I got myself in such a state started crying to the point the invigilator took me out for a while and I really really through id screwed it up. Thing that made me think I NEED THIS ASSESMENT DONE is because alot of the exam I did know but it was taking me so long to interpret the questions properly and I was getting so stressed out about it etc.
Results wednesday so we'll see how that goes
If you have any questions I am happy to awnser them as a person that is going through it now
