Hi everyone, anyone who happens to read this. ;)
On the 26th of June I am doing a 20 mile sponsored bike ride for my self help group in Nottingham at Hucknall. It is the Dyspraxia Connexion. It was in our local support group newsletter that said there will be a sponsored walk or bike ride on the 26th of June and on a different date there will be a sponsored swim. The rest of the group are only doing 5 miles, but I wanted to do more, so I have said I will do 15 miles more. :o I can cycle now, but I didn't used to be able to cycle aswell and it took me longer to learn how to ride a bike. I did have a bike accident with a car :( and was too afraid to get back on my bike for a month afterwards, but in the accident I escaped with a few bruises and shock, so I was very lucky. So because I don't cycle in the winter or at night it has been a long while since I've been back on my bike. I have had to check everything on my bike, give it a wash and get some cycle training in, like today. :D I have already raised about £95 :P .It feels like I'm training for a marathon. ;)

Hi Abby,
Good luck with sponsed cyle around Sherwood Pines on the 26th of this month. I won't be able to do the walk or the cyle ride cause I'am going to be helping out at the Dyspraxia Connexion 10th birthday concert in Wilford as an sound tech helping my dad who is doing the sound.

:( Oh dear. But hey, look on the bright side - it gives you more time to get some decent training in, so you are really fit for the big day! ;)
Let us know when it is taking place.
Take care,
Helen :D
