Hello all, I just thought I would share the good news...my dyspraxia book has been conditionally accepted by the publisher! The condition is that I edit it quite a bit, as I have repeated myself in some of the chapters, but that can easily be done and the publisher is going to help me.

Thanks everyone for your help! :D

Well done Vicky!

Wow! Great! Congratulations!

Just out of interest, ages ago I wrote a poem about dyspraxia and posted it on a thread about your book and also about the officially dyspraxic fantastic campaign. It is on the dyspraxia leaflet Matt, Helen etc. made to distribute to primary Schools. I THINK I asked you if you wanted to use it in your book? Have you?

Dear Charlotte,

Yes, I used your poem. It's on the very last page - I put it there so that readers could finish feeling happy and upbeat! I don't know your surname so in the credits I just put 'by Charlotte, aged 16'. I hope that's all right.

Matt and Clare, I have used your full names in the acknowledgements. You don't mind your surname appearing, do you? If either of you would rather I just used your first names, I'll change it.

Thanks everyone. :)

I've had some more good news. The editing process is finished and my contract should be arriving soon! I am a very excited person.

The working title of the book is 'Caged in Chaos: A Dyspraxic Guide to Breaking Free'. What do you think?
