Questionnaire

Postby parnassus » Wed Jun 08, 2005 8:26 pm

I have been contacted by a researcher in Hong Kong, Dr Vicky Tsang, who is trying to raise awareness of Developmental Co-ordination Disorder in Cantonese schools. She's particularly interested in the psychological impact DCD and dyspraxia have on the lives of dyspraxic teenagers. She'd like us all to fill in questionnaires to help her with this research. Is there anyone who'd like to participate?

She would like to be able to e-mail each participant individually, but I don't think its sensible if you post your personal e-mail addresses on this messageboard - anyone from outside could read them. The reason we can't just post the questions on here and then send her the answers is that you might be influenced (consciously or subconsciously) by reading other people's replies.

If you are interested in taking part, say so on here. I will PM you Dr Tsang's e-mail address. Then you can contact her for the questionnaire.

Is there anyone else? Dr Tsang could do with quite a large sample. The questions won't be invasive, difficult, or embarrassing, she won't pass your names onto anyone else, and she lives in Hong Kong...you can afford to be completely honest as in all probability you'll never meet her face to face. There is currently little or no support for dyspraxic students in Hong Kong. By answering her questions, we will be able to help her team to support Chinese teenagers with dyspraxia.
