Hmm. haven't heard of most people you talk of except REM and Coldplay and Queen. I love Bryan Adams' song Summer of '69!!! I am also jealous of you since you are seeing Coldplay in concert, Jenny!! Oh yeah, of course I've heard of Lifehouse and Bon Jovi, Norah Jones, and Dido. Heard of Jet (i like their song on Spiderman 2 soundtrack), Chilli Peppers are popular here (but were more in the 90s), Blink 182 is GREAT! Heard of the Killers and Radiohead. Who is Idlewild?? I would like to hear that song American English to see what they wrote. Heard of Rage Against the Machine, but I don't know any of their songs. :?

no i have not, they have five albums right? and i've heard 2 of them which are the two most recent ones (Warnings/Promises and The Remote Part)

have you heard anything by The Reindeer Section (they contain about twenty-odd people from scottish (well at least living in scotland) indie bands), i haven't but i'm downloading some now cause i'm intrigued (members of Idlewild, Belle And Sebastian and Snow Patrol have contributed as well as many others)

Belle and sebastian are wicked they really are! I have loved them since around 1999 when I first heard the album tigermilk. The song expectations is so acurate to how life is,
