Im off down south 2mrw for a party for one of the bipolar forums I use, and decided to make some jelly....... 2 different types

I managed to get the water from the kettle intothe mixing jugs withno probs then had to add cold water, which i got from my water filter jug and it went everywhere, causing jelly mix all over the worksurfaces and the floor ........ and everywhere to be sticky!!!!!!!

When will I learn!?!?

oh well .... had to go out and buy more jelly.......

i just hope those eating the jelly at the party apricate how much effort went into making the jelly!!!!!!

forgot the sugar

and the pastry was more holes than pastry

did i mention the whole burnt thing

and my friend (who is not dyspraxic) was helping me

It was in school everyone finished before us and we made the biggest mess

dont envy you having to clean it up lea!

my son had a bad time in cookery at school hes definately not the domesticated type and when his teacher told them to go and melt the chocolate he forgot how to do it so he put it into a pan and forgot about it.

He burnt the chocolate , ruined the pan and set fire to the wooden spoon that he should have used to stir it.

then another time they made cheesecake and he forgot to put the cheese in!

and another cant remember what they were making but he had to take fresh cream and it leaked all over his bag made a lovely mess of all his books etc and totally suined the alphasmart.

i could go on and on and on but needless to say he doesnt do cookery anymore :)

I'm not exactly the world's best cook, I made a complete mess of some popcorn the other week.
But I managed to make my boyfriend a cake for our anniversary :D (with a little help from my mum.)

I burn myself all the time when I cook, I always forget or can not judge how hot things are.

Ah, I can feel a cosmic bond developing...

I am the girl who produced a pancake two feet thick and had to prise it out of the pan with a spatula.
