Sounds like odd homework.

I rather enjoyed it, if the subject was good.

The meaning of the subject to a person is everything. It alone controls enthusiasm levels, that contribute to your attitude to the work, and when and how you do it.

This is why some subjects can be good at some points even though you're not good at them. Technology- Resistant materials was amusing at one point. Do you know the part where you hold acrylic over a strip heater, then bent it when it was soft? I always misjudged it and tried so hard to bend it it just snapped. My record is 3 times in a row!

I tend to see homework as compulsory revision. At least it helps you to take things in, although if you get extremely fatigued during the day this might not work. I used to stagger in from school and sleep for two hours before I did any work at all.

That's only because I no longer have to do it! Here it gets called 'study' or just plain 'work'.
