Are you allowed to talk about any topic whatsoever, or does it have to be related to the navy or the sea?

If it has to be about the sea, here are some suggestions:

* How to survive after a shipwreck. (There is lots of information about this availabe on the Internet.)
* How to cope if a shark attacks you. (Unlikely to happen, but an interesting topic.)
* The Kon-Tiki expedition. This was when a group of men, led by Thor Hyderhal, set out to prove that the Polynesian Islands had originally been populated by the inhabitants of what is now South America, who travelled across the ocean on rafts. They built a replica of an ancient raft, using the exact same materials, and set out (dangerously) to prove their theory.

Do any of those topics interest you?

Hi Vicky those topics sound great . I can talk about anything I want. Kon Tiki expedition sounds good or how to survive after a shipwreck. Where do I get the info from???? My course is Saturday all day over to Sunday.

Here is a very good site on the Kon-Tiki expedition. You can learn more about shipwrecks by reading the relevant entry in The Worst Case Scenario Handbook.

Good luck!

http://www.wikipedia.org is brilliant for things like this. It's also great for last minute revision if you ever find yourself in that position!
