What to ask

Postby Andy » Wed Apr 30, 2008 9:16 am

I have an appointment with the head of the learning support at the college I am hoping to go to next year. He has asked me and my mum to write down any questions that we might have about college so can anyone help what sort of questions should I be asking.

That depends on the sort of help that you will need. Here are some of the questions that I asked when I was applying to Cambridge:

1.) Will there be a quiet place for me to go if I panic in crowded lecture theatres or at the canteen?
2.) Will I be given a mentor to help me familiarise myself with the college and the Faculty?
3.) How do I go about putting my exam concessions in place?
4.) How often do students with learning difficulties receive individual study support sessions?
