Yep, we have three native species. The Adder, the Grass Snake and the Smooth Snake. Rare though and not often seen due to their secretive nature. It's best to leave them well alone if you come across one though.

I knew about the adders, because there are some near where I live (at home). I beleive some idiot poked a hybernating one with a stick repeatedly a few years ago until it bit him.

I learned that optics has allot of confusing language in it. :?

That an interger is a whole number, including zero which can be positive or negative.


Its a bit boring but thats maths for you :)

Let's just say I'm glad I don't do maths anymore. Just reading that sentence hurted! :P

I found out that the island of Rodrigues frequently get battered by cyclones and wrecks the fruit bats habitat. Poor fruit bats.. :(
