This game cheats. It keeps insisting that I haven't mentioned the Congo, even though I viciously stab in 'Democratic Republic of the Congo' as soon as I get to Africa. The game accepts it...and then when I get my results it is on the list of countries that I haven't mentioned!

My top score is currently 144.

My top score is 152. I have worked out how to persuade the game to accept the Congo - you have to type in both 'Democratic Republic of the Congo', followed by simply 'Republic of the Congo'. :D The game's designer must have made a mistake.

I was wrong! There are actually two Congos - a Democratic Republic and just a plain old Republic. According to the Foreign Office's travel advice the ordinary Republic is a lot safer than the neighbouring democratic model. You learn something new every day...

I think it was the film Lord of War that suggested countries that lack a legitimate political structure try to compromise by sticking "The Democratic Republic of " in their name. It's pretty insightful I think.

First time scored 106 :D I'm still bad at geography though; I know the names, but only vaguely where they are (except West Europe)
