Did you read Roald Dahl's books when you were younger? Which one was your favourite? My favourite was Matilda.

I read most of his books when I was younger. My favourite one was James and the Giant Peach. I also liked The Twits and Matilda.

Roald Dahl was one of my biggest influences when I was little, and I still credit him for kickstarting my passion for writing :D My two favourite books were Danny, Champion of the World and Fantastic Mr. Fox.

My favourite Roald Dahl film? Probably Danny, Champion of the World (Jeremy Irons <3). I really like the Tim Burton version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, though.

I read a few of them as a child and quite liked them. My favourite is probably is George's Marvellous Medicine, I remember in primary school going to see it at the theatre. :)

Favourite film for me is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but the old version. I enjoyed Tim Burton's version but it was a bit wacky. The Witches as a film always used to freak me out and still does, Anjelica Huston was so creepy in that!

I saw The Witches on the tv on Sunday. I enjoyed it, it's creepy though. I'm going to see it as a play soon which I'm looking forward to.

When I was younger I saw George's Marvelous Medicine at the puppet theatre and it was fantastic.

The Witches traumatised me when I was little *eye-twitch* I haven't seen the movie since. I feel a bit sick now, just thinking about it.

When I was 8 I got fed up of the books in our school, they were not challenging or interesting enough for my tastes. So the teacher got some more books in for my reading homework, I had already read a few Roald Dahl before, but one of the new books was one not many people have heard of.

It was Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, which was the sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I can tell you it was one of the most confusing and intricate Roald Dahl books I have ever read. True he is a strange author with original ideas in the first place, but this book was one of the strangest. I would recommend it to anyone who likes reading and wants something different.

Has anyone here read it? Please tell me what you thought of it
