Postby k9ruby » Tue Nov 15, 2005 7:32 pm

I am allergic too:

-Nuts (very severe, i was in hives for 3 days when a soap containing some sort of nut product touched my skin) if i eat them i swell up and cant breath properly (I carry andrenline injectors for this one!)
-Horses (moderate) I get lumps on my face and sneeze for england with this one , and no im not talking about a couple of tissues!!
-Cats (moderate) sneeze for england, eyes VERY itchy and the inside thing (pink bit) swells up loads, feel 'itchy although no rash, itchy mouth and tickly through, itchy ears (SO ANOYING!)
-Hayfever- (moderate, same symtoms as cats)
-dust (mild) sneeze a bit and eyes itch quite a lot, happens quite a lot on the school bus.
-antibiotic eyedrop thing(mild) that i cant remember name of. eyes swells up and gets stingy.
for the last 4 i have antihistimines.

I have also had quite a few bad side effects because of injections.

just wondered if anyone else here is either sneezing/itching most of the time!!!!!lol!

I am allergic to pollen, house dust mite, and cats.

It has the effects of itchy, watery, sore eyes (cat), sneezing and itchy eyes for the other two.

I guess it's not just eyes for cats but when I touched a cat and touched my eye my eye went crazy! Perhaps that would happen with any body part that touched a cat. Ever since then I have kept well away from them.

House dust mites and pollen are generally everywhere so cannot be avoided. Grrr!!

I'm allergic to Aqueous Cream (only around my eyes, and don't ask how it's pronounced.) My eyes swell up.

I'm allergic to amoxycillin (and probably penicillin... I refuse to take it to find out!). I also have hayfever, and react badly to dust. The amoxycillin causes me to get a fever, rash, and I can't breathe properly. During the summer I sneeze constantly, and dust brings me out in a rash.

I react badly to a lot of medication, but not so it's dangerous... it normally calms down after a few weeks. I tend to be oversensitive to it too.... lorazepam (benzodiazepine) sends me to sleep at half the smallest dose!

Maybe you should see a homeopath about your hayfever...

nickel and silver are different metals. I react to nickel (in cheap jewellery) but not to silver or gold. I'd forgotten that one since I only wear silver jewellery!

True :P

I'm 19, broke and a student! Luckily, people tend to buy me my jewellery as gifts... they're all educated to know I only wear silver or white gold!
