End of your life

Postby Remus » Sat Sep 06, 2008 12:52 pm

Okay, just imagine for a second the world is going end on Wednesday and you don't have a lot of time. What would you do with you remaining days and what would you regret not doing or not seeing?

Things I would try to in the remaining days

Say I love you to all of my family, friends and pets.
Eat lots of chocolate
Quickly re-read the entire Harry Potter series
Trying and finish any remain books or games I haven't finished paying or reading
Hug all of my five cats

I will try and think of more as I go through my day...

Things I would regret not seeing

Not seeing my nieces and nephew grow up
Not having kids of my own and watch them grow up
Family events, christmas, birthdays etc.
Miss the good side of the world
Not seeing the end of Dexter, Desperate Housewives, Torchwood, Pushing Daisies, Doctor Who!
Seeing how I survive college and getting on with career

Again, I will try and put more later.

So what would you do and regret? POST!

There wasn't much i could have done in the last few days out of the stuff that i'd like to do - especially as i can't afford to go Italy, but I think i would try to say goodbye to everyone on here and all my other friends, and tell all my family that i love them.

There's a lot of things that i would regret - too many too list.

Read a s-hit load o' books ("fear and loathing in Las Vegas ", "On The Road" etc). Listen t' some music, wrap a few things up on the internet and obviously say goodbye to my family and friends.

I don't. I'm not afraid of death.

I would speak to my family and friends, writing down my favourite memories of each particular person and the reasons why I appreciate them so much. Then I would have a Caffe Nero hot chocolate and blueberry muffin, read my favourite books all over again, take a long walk by the River Tyne, make my confession, go to Mass, and spend my last few hours in prayer of thanksgiving. If I died tomorrow, I would have a lot to say thank you for.

I would also be sure to die in the pretty silk dress that I haven't yet worn. :P

I don't find it depressing, everything has things they want to do at some point. I am afraid of dying before I've accieved anything, but it's not like we're actually going to die.

I would tell my family how much I love them, eat a ton of high callorie food, and spend all my money on a huge day out with my friends. I would regret not traveling to many asian countries, and not having found what career I wanted to do.

I'm not afraid of death and I'm also an atheist, I accept the fact that when I die I will no longer have the capacity to feel and that calms me about it. :)

I am scared of the pain that could come with death though, which can't be nice at all.
