The First Election Debate

Postby Remus » Fri Apr 16, 2010 12:25 am

Did anybody watch it tonight on ITV? I decided to watch it as I am a first time voter and I thought it was important to listen what they had to say. I found it quite interest to say the least.

Who do you think was the best in the debate and who was the worst?

I personally found all three gave good points at some point but personally for me, I think Nick Clegg did the best job, to me he sounds convincing.

I also thought Nick Clegg performed the best in that debate-I know of at least one person who wanted to vote Conservative but was put off by David Cameron's performance-he felt it lacked substance.

I didn't see the election debate. I am not as interested in politics as I should be. I'm still going to vote though. If only pepole who feel passionate vote, you end up with a very skewed picture of what the population wants.

I haven't managed to see the other debates although I have a rough idea on who I will be going for.

The first debate IMO was like this:
Clegg>Cameron>Brown

Second debate was like this

Brown>Clegg>Careron.

I only saw the 3rd debate and thought Clegg was the best, followed by Brown. I will be rooting for the Lib Dems tomorrow and will hope to goodness Tories don't get in.
