I don't think they should as those concessions are there to give students with learning or medical needs a level playing field, so to speak, so taking marks off is completely going against that. I had transcripts done of all my exam papers up to and including A Level and I genuinely believe that this is what helped me to gain decent grades in my exams. Without this, my handwriting was illegible and I would have got Us all round simply because it couldn't be read. It should also be remembered that these concessions don't give an unfair advantage or allow us to give better answers and thus get better grades-they just remove the barriers to us showing what we know.

No, definitely not! Like steph said, the concessions are there to level the playing field and taking marks off would go against that.

I agree with Steph and Daniel, those things are put in place to make things fairer, not so marks can be deducted. If that was the case, there would little point to those allowances in the first place.

I agree with the others, to have readers, laptop, scribes to give those who struggle with reading/writing a fair chance. Back in primary school i had a scribe and when i went to college i had a reader.

So much for equal opportunities. The education system needs to change. Everything is wrong. Schools say they do stuff when it's all lies to make them look good. Behind the fog and mystery is us lost in the middle not getting the support.

IT'S OVER 9000! (sorry couldn't resist)

Anyway, as far as we can be concerned there is discrimination; especially against the 'Hidden Handicaps' it seems for people it is easily to shut ones' eyes than one them and observe. that's what makes us better; because we know given the opportunity we could sort it out.

I totally agree; but when did they listen anyway? They don't want to fix it because their life is easy and they won't change it unless forced to.
