Hi Everyone,
I have just come on to say hello and catch up with you all. The past few months have been a bit fraught for us and so we have not been around on DT as much as we would like, but we do pop on from time to time and hopefully as life improves for us here, we can ensure we drop by much more often. Just to remind you though, we are still here and if there are any worries or issues you have with the forum, please do feel you can contact us for support.
It hardly seems possible that DT is 5 years old this year and that it has grown into such a friendly, supportive community, with so many fantastic members, all with something to share. Please know that every single one of you is valued and is welcome here.
I have been catching up on the posts and have noted that there has been a recent problem which has caused bad feeling and a split among you. I am not privy to any more detail than that which is available on this board and for that reason it is not appropriate for me to comment on the situation, other than to say I sincerely hope the current distress and bad feeling, that is being experienced by the parties involved, soon subsides and there is some closure for you all, so you can move on. My thoughts are with each of you.
What I do wish say, is that it saddens me to think that anyone feels they need to back away from the forum, no matter what the reason behind it. Every one of you is important and makes DT the forum that it is today, so no one ever needs to feel they have to leave. This forum is based upon trust and tolerance. No matter what goes on, it should remain a place where all members feel wanted and welcome and I know you all work hard to try to ensure that happens. However if any of you ever feel something on the forum is spiralling out of control, to the detriment of you, others, or DT as a whole, please contact Darren or myself.
Hope you are all managing to find your way around the new version of the forum. Darren has taken a year to get it as close to the original as he can, so I hope you feel his work has paid off.
Thank you all for the wonderful resource you have created in DT, for the support you give to each other and for the way you embrace new members. You are all brilliant and never forget it!
Helen xx
