A forum to talk about the genius trilogy, The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, and The Matrix Revolutions. 8) I just watched these three powerful, symbolic movies this weekend for the first time and was truly amazed by the story, special effects, and religious symbolism (esp. in Revolutions). :D

I think they are really GREAT movies as well. This is good quality Science Fiction. The idea of a faulse reality is really scary! I also love the movie 'The Trueman show' and I started to read 1984 by George Orwell.

I love the Truman show. I also love 1984. However, I'm not much of a fan of Matrix 2 and 3. The first one was brilliant, the next 2 were dull for me. They weren't really compelling as the whole "he's the one" had sunk in and I no longer feared for his life.

I loved the special effects in the Matrix but I never really got the plot.

For some reason, when it comes to things like Terminator, the Matrix, Star Wars, I just don't get it, I get lost.

Thats alright. Especially murder mysteries where there are lots of characters to remember.... Try wikipedia. Thats what I do, usually it has the storyline on it and then I read it and I'm like: "oh silly me, i get it!". ;-) I seem to recognise characters by their faces and not by their names. I don't usually end up knowing what their names were ^ ^
