On a similar vein, did anyone catch the BAFTAs last night? That's the British version of the Academy awards. Stephen Fry is such a fantastic compere; very witty!

I wish. I got them off of http://www.imdb.com

I did know most of the best picture, actress, and actor ones off the top of my head though. 8) I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my vote for the top ones:

Best Picture: Either Brokeback Mountain or Crash
(Brokeback is predicted to win)

Best Actor in a leading role: Joaquin Pheonix (Walk the Line) or Heath Ledger (Brokeback Mountain). I believe it is Phillip Seymour Hoffman that is predicted to win though...I have not seen Capote so I can't really say if he is better than Pheonix or Ledger.

Best Actress in a leading role: Reese Witherspoon (Walk the Line) or Keira Knightley (Pride and Prejudice). I thought they both did good, but Reese is the favorite of the public. 8)

Best Actress in a supporting role: Michelle Williams for Brokeback Mountain. Haven't seen it, but I heard it is extremely good! Also it won some awards at the BAFTA awards! 8). Favorite of the public, I believe is, Rachel Weisz for The Constant Gardener.

Best Actor in a supporting role: Either Matt Dillon for Crash or Jake Gyllenhaal for Brokeback Mountain. THis category is the most unpredictable. Anybody could basically win.

Best Director: Probably Paul Haggis for Crash or Ang Lee for Brokeback Mountain. Going for Haggis though, because I like the movie so much. :)

Best Animated film: Haven't seen it, but I always have to go with the claymation stuff nowadays so: Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit. I think that it is so cool that they move all the figures to different positions. It takes like 3 years to make a movie like that. I think they deserve it. 8) [/url]
