So what's your favourite game? I've been playing Civ IV and GRAW2 a lot recently, but I think my overall favourite is the original Deus Ex - even if it is pretty dated.

Civ 4 is very good, and I'm also enjoying Garry's Mod, Team Fortress 2, and StepMania.

Donkey Kong Country. I played it for the first time was nine and it is one of only three computer games that I have enjoyed ever since. As you can tell, I am not much a computer game fan.

Does anyone else find the co-ordination for console games harder than using a keyboard and mouse? Of course it might be because I only got into consoles fairly recently. Microsoft were doing a demonstration of some new technologies (for computing students) at uni and - sadly - I was impressed by the fact that you can actually write your own games for the 360. Is it sad that I bought a console because I wanted to program it?

My co-ordination is fine on both, either console or keyboard and mouse but I mainly play real games on consoles. I'm a bit of a retro gamer, I play Playstation, GBA games, Gamecube, I'm not modern gamer.

My favourites would have to be:

Spyro: The Year of the Dragon for Playstation
Spiderman 1 and 2 for Playstation
Sims 2 for PC
The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker/ Ocarina of Time/ Majora's Mask for Gamecube
Megaman Battle Network Series for GBA

My favourite offline game is The Sims 2. My favourite online game is World of Warcraft (spending a lot of time in there at the moment). Second Life isn't a game but I also spend a lot of time in there.

Worst thing is when you WANT to play but you just can't find the heart to work through it.
