You should read it, it's quite a cheap book compared to the rest due to it being a World Book Day book and personally, I really enjoyed it. :) It was the first Darren Shan book I read and I wasn't keen on horror books at the time so it very much acted as a sort of starter book for me.

I'm currently reading a book called Before I Go To Sleep by SJ Watson. It's a book about a woman who is an amnesiac and every morning she wakes up, she loses all her memories of her past as she is 47 but often wakes up thinking, she is still a young adult or even times when she's a child. It's a thriller and I'm honestly gripped to it at the moment, it's such an exciting plot. I must have admit, it can be a little repetitive at times but what can you expect from someone who loses their memories! I cannot wait to finish it and see what twists it has in store. I certainly recommend check it out, apparently they are also doing a film adaptation with Nicole Kidman playing the main role. :D

Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice (rereading it actually, it's been a couple of years)
and Unseen Academicals by Terry Pratchett =)
Should probably warn you all; I tend to write in a kind of stream of conciousness... for which I am very sorry

It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious.

I am reading "The Book of Souls" by James Oswald at the moment. It is very well written and very gripping-the sort of book that gets you so immersed in all the apprehension that any outside noise makes you jump! I read his other book, "Natural Causes", which is free on the Kindle, on holiday. That was also very good but I get the impression that he has an interest in demonic possession as both of these books centre around murder as a ritual sacrifice to a demon. Not a light read at all but both of these are fantastically written.

i'm not reading it but i want to read a book called the perks of being a wallflower.
i don't know whether or not you have heard of it but it's by Stephen Chbosky. There is also the film is coming out in october! so going to see that one.

The Blurb of the book is:
This is the story of what it's like to grow up in high school. More intimate than a diary, Charlie's letters are singular and unique, hilarious and devastating. We may not know where he lives. We may not know to whom he is writing. All we know is the world he shares. Caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it puts him on a strange course through uncharted territory. The world of first dates and mixed tapes, family dramas and new friends. The world of sex, drugs, and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show, " when all one requires is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite.

You have no idea excited i am to both read the book and watch the film!

if any of you have read the book please can you give me a short review on what you think of the book and if you recommend it!
thanks x

"My Daughter, My Mother" by Annie Murray. It's a novel about two women who meet at a mother and baby group. One of the women is white British and the other one is Sikh British. Both of them use the mother and baby group as an escape from their controlling home lives but the book also goes back in time to the Sikh womens mothers childhood when the partition between India and Pakistan was happening. It's a really good read.
