i'm not reading it but i want to read a book called the perks of being a wallflower.
i don't know whether or not you have heard of it but it's by Stephen Chbosky. There is also the film is coming out in october! so going to see that one.

The Blurb of the book is:
This is the story of what it's like to grow up in high school. More intimate than a diary, Charlie's letters are singular and unique, hilarious and devastating. We may not know where he lives. We may not know to whom he is writing. All we know is the world he shares. Caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it puts him on a strange course through uncharted territory. The world of first dates and mixed tapes, family dramas and new friends. The world of sex, drugs, and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show, " when all one requires is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite.

You have no idea excited i am to both read the book and watch the film!

if any of you have read the book please can you give me a short review on what you think of the book and if you recommend it!
thanks x

"My Daughter, My Mother" by Annie Murray. It's a novel about two women who meet at a mother and baby group. One of the women is white British and the other one is Sikh British. Both of them use the mother and baby group as an escape from their controlling home lives but the book also goes back in time to the Sikh womens mothers childhood when the partition between India and Pakistan was happening. It's a really good read.

I've just finished reading Before I Go To Sleep - amazing ending, I was gripped! Now, I'm reading Ian Fleming and the first Bond book, Casino Royale.

I've just finished reading Love at Second Sight by Cathy Hopkins. It's about Soulmates and people who have lived before. It's interesting.

Dead Time by Anne Cassidy. It's a crime series for young adults. It's good but the authors writing style can be a bit slapdash at times.

I am meeting Anne Cassidy in November at a library celebration event, so I am currently re reading 'Looking for JJ' by Anne Cassidy. If you have not read that one, I would definitely recomend it.
