That's a good thought - when you are stressed or anxious and you have an appointment, really try to go to it. Even though it's hard. This happens to me quite a bit, and I notice that the times I do make my appointment, I feel really pleased with myself that I did, and it's a feeling of, phew, that wasn't so bad. On the other hand,when I miss an appointment, I feel really crap about myself and start telling myself what a useless so-and-so I am.
