Sumer, people have panic attacks for many different reasons. These strategies are specifically for people whose attacks are triggered by sensory stimuli, such as smoke, noise, crowds of people, or bright lights. They wouldn't help your friend if her attacks aren't caused by these things. She needs to see a therapist to discuss the possible causes of her attacks. They might be physiological (caused by drinking too much caffeine) or psychological. The only way for her to find out is to talk to a professional.

Fear of dogs isn't really somethnig I can identify with; I love dogs and own three myself!
Do you know what caused your fear? Did you have an unpleasant experience with a dog? This might sound strange, but it might be beneficial to actually learn more about dogs by, for example, looking at pictures of dogs to reintroduce yourself with them. If you have a close friend who has a dog you could talk to them about their dog and maybe even see their dog. Be sure to talk it slowly; for example one day you could just look at the dog in the next room, the next look at the dog at the other end of the same room, the next stroke the dog etc.
Don't really know what to suggest. I know it's hard having a phobia, I have a phobia of spiders and don't know if I could carry out any of the tips I have just suggested to help myself with that fear!

I think you need to buy a book on overcoming specific phobias or, best of all, consult a registered psychologist. Your doctor can refer you. This kind of phobia is very simple to treat.

i have quite bad stage fright, and we had to do a play a few monthes ago, i had a small part(i had asked for a small part). i was a black person, and we dident use the black paint until we were about to do the play. the second the black paint toched my sikn i started to panik, i was realy nervos any way but the black paint made me go completly mad. i couldent tallk or do anithing, i sat by myself for the next hower and a half wiel the play whent on(they took the black paint of me about five minets afther it was put on)
my mum was realy angry with my teacher for not trying out the paint in one of the rihersels, but i think it was my falt, i knew i hated paint, and i also hate the sponges that the paint is aplied with.

Amy, it's not your fault. You didn't know you'd react like that to the paint.
