I just would make a joke of it and explain your condition. I think I was about 2 when I took my first steps, which I suppose is at the later end of normal, but just say your brain is wired a bit differently than everyone else's and that your messages from your brain to your limbs get a bit mixed up. Personally if I haven't got alot of time, I just liken it to being drunk 24/7 (which is how my neurologist explained it to me!). People tend to understand that from experience. :) Hope this helps.

be honest, evrybody views thier own conditon differently.
i find the best way to explain it is show them something, i find the best one is hyperextention/hyperflexability in my fingers, but some people will make a joke about it, and others will just deflect/avoid the questions.

even though you are only 12, you can say that people often describe it as being drunk all the time.

however you explain it, i find that if people start to tease you about it, join in, laugh at yourself, and the people teasing you are likley to stop, and you feel better about it yourself.

i hope i have helped you, i will do more if i can
