Hi my names Dominic and I have Dyspraxia and for years my main social problems have been with dancing and football. But I have always wanted to play football and people say that it's too late and I have missed the boat. Does anyone else feel like this they wish they could learn to play football like everyone else? So I was thinking it might be a good idea to organise a football team so we can work together and get a trainer to try and improve our football skills. Perhaps then we could organise a football match for people with Dyspraxia to improve our skills. Who's with me on taking this idea further?

im sure there are many people intrested, but im not sure if its possible as we are all so spread out, there might be a local specal needs 'scene' where you can try to organise this. if you are reciving support, for example at school or college, there may be someone there who can help you.
i think that a sports team for dyspraxics would be a wonderful idea if we can get round the practical elements.

How did you go with finding a football team to join?

Good luck with it. I'm sure there will be plenty of people interested, not me though! My world + sports = Disasters. Literally like petrol and fire going together, not a good combo.

In 6th form we were told to do a fundraiser for charity so we decided to do a 6th Formers Vs Teachers penalty shootout to raise money for the Dyspraxia Foundation and we are holding on Wednesday i am taking part. I am quite excited for it.
