Not much in the way of comon sense

Postby CallumCarr » Sun Aug 29, 2010 4:35 pm

When i do something i generally used to do it without thinking about what could happen and what i was doing wrong, my mum and dad always used to say that i did not have much common sense, now i always stop and think before i do something to make sure i don't do anything stupid. Does anyone think this/was a part of my dyspraxia. :?:

People always complain that I have no common sense. Don't be too upset about it though-my dad says that all of the people he knows who have zero common sense are also the most highly intelligent-then again, he's only my dad and not anyone professional so he might be talking nonsense.

I am told I have no common sense. My Mum says it's just lack of intiative. Oh well.

I am sort of in the middle. With some things I have barrels of the stuff and then when it comes to other things, I have no common sense whatsoever.

I seem to be the opposite to the rest of you at this point. If you mean a lack of common sense in the sense, i.e not appllying logic to a situation and takeing the risk without a proper analiysis on the situtation the n I am the opposite of most of you who have posted. I must evaluate and check the situation properly before I act. This goes to the stage we I will not do somthing because it is to much of a risk. It s works for me and keeps me safe.

Thing to remember: Common sense is something a lot of people. Only you have what makes you unique.

I am certainly lacking in common sense. But yes I don't take risks much either. If I'm going to cross a road and I'm not entirely sure yet I'll just not cross and stand there until I'm sure.

I like to plan things, but that takes time. So if people rush me and I don't have time to think or plan then I will completely do something with no common sense.

Like sometimes when I'm just carrying something my sister will say "Oh my gosh robyn! Can't you just carry it like this!"
And I would have no clue how I did not see that there was a easier way to carry things.
