After intense training with my mum, I now use my fork in my right hand, prongs facing downwards, and my knife in my left hand

Like Steph, I use my fork like a spoon and tear my food as opposed to cutting it, as I simply have never got the hang of cutting food! My method is holding the food in place with my knife and then tearing it with my fork, which my mum hates but it's the best I can do I'm afraid
That is exactly what I do, but nobody really hates it for me.
As for myself I use my fork in my right hand and knife in left. I'll avoid a knife if possible and use a teaspoon to eat Sunday dinners with if I'm at home. If something is also too tough to tear I ask somebody to cut it for me.
I also butter with a spoon as I cannot grasp the whole buttering knife action.

I always hold my knife and fork in the wrong hand because I cant use the fork if I don't.

I always hold them the wrong way round and use a spoon whenever possible, it's much easier
And I never really cut food, I find it really difficult. Instead I hold down the food with the knife and tear at it with the fork. It's a pain because I always get told off by my grandparents whenever I seen the because of it, apparently it's bad manners?? XD
