Wierd title... I was trying to be funny. Ha.
Anywho. All my life, I've never been able to focus. It seems that I'm constantly thinking of something unrelated to my current situation.
Today I was in a lecture. I noticed my mind was wandering so I told myself 'Oi, concentrate!' and it was fine, until about three minutes later when I had managed to wander again. I don't know what it is. It happens all the time. I've always thinking. I'm never feeling or doing. I think alot of it is worry. Sometimes I imagine bad things happening to me. Like if I'm going to a party, I'll imagine people will laugh at me or i'll fall over etc. Silly things like that.
I really want to stop. Its not good for me. Even though daydreaming and such is probably good for my creativity and whatever, it isn't good for everyday life, which is unfortunately tedious and sometimes pretty scary.
Tips, or maybe you do the same?

I get the same thing-my mind is always fixating on something (usually something that makes me anxious) even when my body is at rest.

Sounds exactly like me Steph. I'm usually worrying about something most of the time.

My mind is like an express train, I cannot never seem to shut off properly, there is always something bothering me especially late at night. In class, I often find myself daydreaming but to be fair, most of the work is rather boring!

If often find my mind out to lunch when I thinking.
I hit myself without realizing it when this happens.
Does anyone have really strange conversations with themselves?
If so, I like to know, because it means I'm sane!

My mind is always wandering, unfortunately it usually to worry about one thing or another. Even right now I'm anxious about school tomorrow and whether i will remember to take my clarinet to school. Really I should be sleeping but every time I try my brain just does not switch off.
