Postby Dork_Lord » Mon Jun 25, 2007 7:06 pm

Gordon Brown, the current labour party chancellor of the exchequer for the UK, will be replacing Tony Blair as prime minister later this week.

What is everyone/anyone's thoughts on this?

At the end of the day all Leaders of Countires lie, no matter who we had in.

For certain matters the public can never know everything and they all backstab i spose thats why we have history lessons to find out the truth of facts of what really happen.

and i think it would be worse with BNP in power.

As their views are just silly i remember when they were doign the elections and my history teacher said "the leader wanted to border up the other side of Euro Tunnel and no international relations and to stop foringners coming in"

In my world, anybody should be allowed to go where ever they want, its their life.

People say like they dont respect our Country but are own people dont respect our Country. We should stop blaming easy targets.

Anyway i think Brown will do more than Blair because his speechs suck he doesnt make you feel exicted but in Government and rules you shoudnt really be made exicted, the leader should jus say what he wants to make the coutnry bettter and DO IT! instead of saying things which Blair never did or lived up too.

Brown doesnt seem like this from his first few speechs he just bores me.

So he could be good, If thats to go by anything.

I think Brown is a very proficient politician, and his "get down to business" approach is refreshing considering how image obsessed Blair was. Despite taxing us more than we would have liked, Gordon Brown has done a brilliant job at the treasury, and as a result we now have one of the best economies in the world.

Overall i'm quietly positive about it.

He has lived to take over Blair and outdo Blair, that's all he wants to do, unscrewing the country's just part of the job.

Prime Minister Jabba The Hut here doesn't seem he can be any better.

I am happy about Gordon Brown being the new prime minister as he is much better than Tony Blair ever was. However, the split between scotland and the rest of the UK wont happen now.
Dyspraxia is me I would never change that :)

Sure you don't mean John Prescott being Jabba the Hutt? I've not heard of gordon brown being called that.
