David Cameron's son Ivan died today.

I read it on the BBC News website-so sad! To lose a child at such a young age must be so devastating-I feel so sorry for David and his wife.

I saw this as well and think it's very sad. I think it was good for House of Commons to show some respect by suspending action and I found Gordon Brown's speech moving. My condolences go out to the Cameron family.

I've always respected David Cameron, whereas you get the impression that Gordon Brown is ashamed of his disabled child. I have to say though, I was surprised at how genuine GB seemed during PMQs - something that's unusual. It was good that they offered that mark of respect.

It is very sad. I don't like how it was front page on bbc news to 9 people dying in a plane crash but that's news for you.

I like David Cameron.

That is very sad that he lost his baby. I can't imagine it. But I have to ask who David Cameron is.

David Cameron is the leader of the Conservative party in the UK- the leader of the opposition (to government).

Oh, okay. I should probably know that. I am trying to learn more about other countries since our American history books are like, so nationalistic. I feel like I barely know anything about anyone else's culture except maybe our allies and even not much more about them.

It's terrible for someone to die especially so young. Poor David and his family.
