Borders, my favorite bookstore, is closing some of its stores now due to the economic times. :( I am so sad about this. Here is the story and I feel bad for the loss of jobs of so many. They have not closed down all the stores yet, just some, but that's how electronics giant Circuit City started before it became obsolete a few months ago.

I've been in Borders before. It's a really nice shop. It's a shame it is closing some of its stores, still I prefer Waterstones.

Never heard of Waterstones. It must be an English store. We mostly just have Borders, Barnes and Noble, Waldenbooks, little bookshops and department stores with books in them.

Waterstones is our main chain of bookstores but we have other book stores like Borders.
