Isn't this a shame? They could establish a colony on it one day and grow vegetables..

I think it's good. It was a stupid idea. I'd rather they spent money on more telescopes etc.

Everybody knows man on the Moon is just a political stunt.

While "not in our lifetime" isn't really an argument I personaly consider valid when talking about what whole socioties can accieve, I do think that the idea is a bit of a dead end. After we colonise the moon, where do we go then? It only pushes the problem back a step.

thats quite sad to think about because we should be trying to find out more about the moon and space but then again so many people are starving so maybe its better that monney goes to helping our planet before exploring others
