Hello, I'm Chloe

Postby Panda_Eyes7 » Sun May 30, 2010 3:40 pm

Hello everyone,

My names Chloe. I discovered that I am Dyspraxic two years ago.

:) I've almost completed my second year at Dartington College of Arts (studying Theatre, then Art and Performance) but am now thinking of completing my degree with the open university - maybe studying classics.

I live with my partner, who was also diagnosed as Dyspraxic two years ago.

I have a Rabbit called Hazel-Rah and two fish called Rosy and Babs.

I live in Cornwall and I love Pandas.

:P

Hiya! I'm Steph and I'm 23. I have both dyspraxia and Aspergers Syndrome. I live in Surrey in south east England and I work as a support worker in a residential school for children with severe and complex epilepsy and other neurological and physical disabilities. It is very challenging but I enjoy it and I am getting better at it now! I love animals (I have 3 cats at home), the Internet, learning about other cultures and languages, reading and listening to music. I hope you enjoy the boards :D

Hi Steph,

Thanks for your reply :)

I think it's great that a place like 'this' exists. The only other dyspraxic person I know is my partner, and we grew up together and only found out late that we were dyspraxic so are still finding our feet and figuring out what Dyspraxia means for us - suddenly I stumble across this site and realise there are hoards of us!!!

Your work with the school sounds brilliant :)

I have a cat called Dreamer, but she lives at my mums house in oxfordshire so i don't get to see her much - and i don't think hazel would be too pleased if i got a new cat!

Me and my partner, Alex, both love reading. He's more of a book collector wheras i'm set on the path to Librarianship. I work as a Library Assistant at the moment and its the only place that I have ever been able to be perfectly confident and comfortable in. Thank goodness for Libraries!

I'm very interested in culture and language too. I'm hoping to learn Latin and Ancient Greek with the open uni later this year.

Lovely to meet you,

Chloe

Hi. I'm William, and I'm 15. I have dyspraxia and dysgraphia, and although I've only been a member for a short time, I've really enjoyed the forum (to the point of obsession). I hope you find it as interesting as I do.

Hi Chloe,
Welcome to DT.
I'm Ben and I've got gross (bad) dyspraxia and verbal dyspraxia.
Which part of Cornwall are you in?
I go on holiday to Cornwall with my mum & dad once every year (or some times go to other places for holidays)

Hello Chloe, welcome to DT. I'm Remus, I'm 18 and I'm mild dyspraxic (although it's unofficial, trying to get it sorted out). I live in Birmingham, West Midlands where I am currently training to be a zookeeper. I have four cats and two fish and love all sorts of animals! I love books, movies, music, television especially TV series.

Hope you enjoy the boards!
