My name is Max and I was diagnosed with developmental dyspraxia when I was 9, my teachers always thought I was an idiot an I didn't enjoy school due to being bullied a bit. I think the condition contributed to this slightly, I could never sit still, not that I was ever disruptive but that I was always fidgeting. Usually I would push my hands together, stare at the floor and daydream, it would often take me a while before I noticed the entire class was laughing at me.
Today at the age of twenty my handwriting is readable only to me, I can't ride a bike, swim or run properly. It takes me ages to tie my shoelaces and I am extremely sensitive to touch but I really don't mind. I live just outside London and am in the middle of doing a years Business an Admin apprenticeship at a Disabled Children's Centre and hope to go to Journalism College next year.
Look forward to speaking with you all.

Hiya! I'm Steph and I'm 24. I have both dyspraxia and Aspergers Syndrome. I live in Surrey in south east England and I work as a support worker in a residential school for children with severe and complex epilepsy and other neurological and physical disabilities. It is very challenging but I enjoy it and I am getting better at it now! I love animals (I have 3 cats at home), the Internet, learning about other cultures and languages, reading and listening to music. I hope you enjoy the boards :D
