Hello! My name is Charlie

Postby CharlieKnill » Thu Nov 28, 2013 5:49 pm

Hello All! :D

My name is Charlie and I suffer from Dyspraxia and ASD!

I was diagnosed with Dyspraxia when I was little and ASD when I was in year 6 (I am now year 11)

Due to my ASD I find it hard to be sociable with other children and although I know how to make friends I am clueless when it comes to keeping them :?:

I also find it difficult at times to control my emotions and am currently using a stress ball in school to keep my temper under control!

When it comes to sport and/or anything involving coordination I am absolutely ****

However I like to run and dance and when I was younger used to go mountain boarding (Off - Road skateboarding)

Like most teenagers I like to play video games such as Monter Hunter Tri and Colin Mcrae: Dirt 2

However I spend too much time playing games and not enough time revising!

Other interests of mine include:
Railways (Real and Model, Windmill's,Model Boating and Scouting!

I intend to college next year although I am not sure what curse I am doing!

Thank you for reading this!

Hiya! I'm Steph and I'm 27. I have both dyspraxia and Aspergers Syndrome. I live in Surrey in south east England and I work as a support worker in a residential school for children with severe and complex epilepsy and other neurological and physical disabilities. It is very challenging but I enjoy it and I am getting better at it now! I love animals (I have 1 cat at home), the Internet, learning about other cultures and languages, reading and listening to music. I hope you enjoy the boards :D

Hi, My name is Dan/Rory/Whatever you want to call me. I am 17 and I am a Welshman. I am doing Psychology, Geology, Biology A-levels and in my spare time I like to do a lot of things to keep me busy like; making music, listening to music, playing video games, making airfix models, reading e.c.t. I love both Sherlock and Doctor Who (I don't watch much TV other than those tbh).

Welcome to the forum, I hope you have a good time on the boards.

a knighthood?!?!? That is fantastic!!!!

Oh cool! What scale is it?
I am currently building a 1:72 scale RAF Benevolent Fund BAE Hawk with the british flag livery. Its not that big, but it is taking forever. The paint scheme is slightly on the complicated side and the gloss red and metallic blue paints need loads of coats to get a decent colour!

Hi Dan!

The windmill is 1:76 scale (OO Gauge)

I also have built an armoured railcar to 1:72 scale!

Also I have something that may interest you!

An original Airfix printing plate which was used to print box artwork for the MESSESCHMITT Me 262A!

At some point I will get around to posting some photo's of my models!

I aqquired the printing plate after a member of staff found it in a school skip, recognised the Airfix logo and had the common sense to retrieve it!

Hi im Paddington and i have dyslexia as well as dyspraxia (luckily for me it is only the vowels that switch around and as a keen story writer this can come in handy for names) i am highly un coordinated one of my proudest achievements to date is hitting 3 teachers with a volleyball whilst trying to aim in the opposite direction to to where they were standing. I love geography, history and biology and intend to follow in my family's footsteps to become a biologist ( my stress ball of choice is a squidgy brain shaped one) i am constantly told i am bonkers by everyone but i am perfectly happy about this one of my favorite things to do is go hyper. Enjoy the forum :)
