English speaking

Postby _robyn_ » Sat Sep 17, 2011 9:59 am

I really need some help choosing a piece for my english speaking.

It has to be either a poem or a bit from a fiction book.

I had ideas of reading a bit from the book "Night." Someone suggested when the little boy gets hanged but I thought it was a bit too disturbing and I'm only in year 9.

Another idea was a part of the book "The Hunting Ground" there are a lot of very good bits in that. We have ordered the book (I lost it) so my only worry is it won't arrive before Wednesday.

I also thought, diary of anne Frank, Curius Incident of the dog in the night time, winnie-the-pooh

But has anyone got any suggestions???

I had a idea for that, but we read it as a class text last year and our teacher doesn't want us reading class texts.
But thanks for the suggestion :D
