Patterns, shapes pictures and noises.

Postby k9ruby » Thu Jan 19, 2012 9:48 pm

Right. Only a couple of weeks ago I figured out I am apparently the only one that thinks like this in my house, and they thought it was a bit odd.

Does anyone see noises/words/numbers as patterns, colours and shapes?

For example,

34 - Yellow and Red

26- Blue and light blue

74- mid green and red

100-white black black

snore- a black line

house- a blue zigzag that turns into a green parellel line

beanbag- red donut shape with yellow outlines

white noise- shakey circles swirling black and white

viibration- white and green triangles

Please dont say I'm weird! Or if you do in a nice way :P

I don't see things in that way, Ruby, but I have met quite a few people who do so you're not the only one.

I don't see things quite like that, Ruby, but I do think that you're a synesthesate!

I don't 'see' things like that either, but it sounds like you have synesthesia, Ruby.

See here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia for more info.

Neither do I, Ruby but I do remember reading a few months ago about someone who sees like that as well.
