Should I get tested?

Postby 09ahluwaliat » Thu Feb 14, 2013 6:47 pm

Hi my name is Aaron and I would like to ask if I should get tested for dyspraxia.
I was told last year by a teacher that he thought I was dyspraxic. Since then several people have mentioned it to me but it may jeopardise my hope of becoming a pilot if i get diagnosed. However, it would allow me to have a laptop and extra time during my GCSEs, A-levels and possibly in University.
Help please
Aaron

there is something wrong with the poll, it keeps saying invalid. However I would say that get yourself tested after all it will confirm if it is or not and then you will know for sure. With a proper diagnoses it will open doors as you can say you've been diagnosed instead of it being only a theory. also the tests are actually quite fun

I think you should get tested it would make life easier if you had to extra stuff in exams. As for becoming a pilot well we are protected under disabilities act they cant discriminate against you because you have dyspraxia
