I try to avoid shoes with laces. Although I've been able to tie them myself for about 3 or 4 years now (and I'm 16, sad isn't it?)

I have tried them once or twice before and although they're quite good, I hardly ever wear lace-ups because I prefer velcro.

I used to work ina running shop and didn't come across any but we used to sell elastic laces with cordlocks so rather than tying laces you just pull the cord like you do with jogging bottoms. The shop I worked in was www.runandbecome.com but I'm sure you could find them in another sport shop if you don't live in Cardiff, Dublin or London....or order them if you couldn't find them anywhere else.

yo seany there are now loads of velcrow trainers around just go to a one of the big sports shops life jd or jjb or footlocker.

nike are the probobley the best because they have the bigist range but ebay is the best place to buy from because they have alot of big sizes like yours and there alot cheaper, why pay 40 quid for one per when ya can get like 2 or 3 for that price.
