Daydreaming

Postby Remus » Sun Mar 16, 2008 11:04 pm

Every day, I find myself in a daydream world. In lessons, at home, travelling in the car. I am constantly daydreaming. Does anybody else do this?

I think the only reason I daydream is to escape the horror of my fears and worries and slip into a fantasy world where I can be myself and not be the shy, quiet person I am in the real world.

Yes I daydream a lot-so much so in fact that petit mal epilepsy was my first suspected diagnosis because I appeared vacant all the time.

Oh yes, very much so. I have a tendancy to be the quiet type, deep in their own thoughts and leaving the subconscious part of me to watch the real world in case it's needed.

I'm constantly daydreaming - it sometimes feels as if I'm on a different Planet to everyone else. Then again, I sometimes feel as if I like my own Planet better with all the madness which goes along in the real World.

I have always daydreamed a lot. Most of my daydreams used to be fun, but since I became depressed they have become frightening and out of control.

Yeah mostly at college or in the car I daydream, I'd say I do it about 50% of my waking life, it's how I write music too, so I guess it's a bit productive!

Apparently I used to wander around our classrooms humming to myself at primary school. :P Jason, they liked bringing my issues up too. ;)

i loose the line of just thinking about day dreaming they seem so samey to me lol i guess perhaps day dreaming is just thinking about irrelevant things to the task at hand and 'phasing' out- i do that so much, my teachers are always like "martha are you with us?" but lukily i seem to have developed some slight skill to be able to hear what thier talking about and day dream vaguely simultaniosly wooo horray for multi-tasking!
