Hiyahh x I have to pick my 3rd yr subjects in not long and i dont know what to pick :? :? Give me some advice please :D :D x

Pick the subjects you enjoy. Ask for advice from your teachers.

Well i am thinking of doing a hair dressing course :D :D Butt i dont know what subjects i need to pick :? :?

I would say if you are taking a hairdressing course, business studies would be a good one to take just incase you want to set up your own salon and of course, Maths with dealing with customers paying and all of that. Maybe something like art as well.

I would advise pick a subject that involves using your hands, if your good a maths pick if not don't pick it because there is nothing worse than picking something that you absolutely hate and being bored for 40 minutes or whatever most days.

Also can some please tell me why I'm older than a few people here that are in college and yet im in my final year of secondary school, nearly 18 and have applied to universities only last thursday. What is the deal with the gcse's in the uk.

In England, college=sixth form college. It's not the same as University.

Well art is creative and I've always though of hairdressing to be quite creative as well.

I would certainly advise you talk to your parents and tutors about it though, they may be able to give you more advice.

doing something you're comfortable with, if you like hairdressing and things maybe you're like creative so like photography :) xxx
