Asking for help...

Postby likeasheep » Mon Feb 21, 2011 7:44 pm

Now that I've been accepted into CCCU with a conditional offer, it's suddenly hit me that I'm going to be living on my own come December... I have to ask, does anyone have any tips for living alone with dyspraxia? At the moment, I have people around me who, despite not understanding the condition, are happy to move anything if it looks like I'm about to barrel into it... so, just does anyone have any useful information? I hate to be such a bother, but I'm really worrying about it. :(

You need to apply for disability support as soon as possible.

I phoned up the woman in charge of that in my area, and she gave my mum some steps for us to do, but apparently, we're not allowed until March I think, so we've got to wait... thanks for your help!
